Self Confidence through Mastery

When a student learns how to thrive within a structured art like Karate that is both challenging and achievable they learn the skills to Master any situation they find themselves in. This creates confidence and a sense of self.

The student who has undergone the challenges of Mastery will not need anyone to tell them what they can and cannot do, because they will know for themselves what they are capable of.

What do we mean by Mastery?

The student’s ability to Master, to their own abilities, the material required of them in class. It does not mean better than anyone else, it means better than you were before. When you can start something new and keep going despite the challenges you over come one of the biggest barriers to success and self confidence, your self.

"You only have to learn how to be great at one thing to become great at anything you choose.”
